What Adventures Are Next for Globetrotters Crazy Golf?

Hello Globetrotters!

So here we are, at the beginning of another year. I’m writing this post as a quick update outlining what we’ve been up to recently and some of the things we have to look forward to this year.

Brighton Christmas Festival

2021 finished with a bang when we finally launched the business at the inaugural Brighton Christmas Festival and Market. Visitors were able to experience Globetrotters Crazy Golf for the first time ever as we found a temporary home in Victoria Gardens.

There were many highlights during the 4 weeks at the market. In total, we welcomed 3,655 customers to our festive pop up including all sorts of golfers from tiring toddlers to glamorous grandmas! We enjoyed meeting every single one of you, especially the competitive souls who would celebrate a hole in one like they were at The Open.

The event wasn’t without a few hiccups along the way. We had not one, but two site closures due to adverse weather (bloody Storm Barra!). Then some numpty broke into the site and stole our brand new reindeer prop. This was before another closure due to a power fault on the site. Covid started to have a greater impact on footfall in the last week as people understandably didn’t want to be self-isolating over Christmas.

New Year – New Adventures

So what’s in store for Globetrotters this year?

We are currently putting together a calendar of events that will see us active across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and perhaps even further into Hampshire and London! All being well, we will be popping up at breweries, venues, festivals and weddings! Our first event of the year will likely not be until March or April, but we are using this time to develop new props and obstacles for our crazy golf course.

We don’t want to give too much away just yet but stay tuned for updates where all the details will be revealed.

Crazy Golf Hire for Weddings

It’s been amazing to receive such great interest from couples who would like to hire mini golf for their special day and it’s something we can’t wait to be involved in. I will soon be adding new content with information on the different wedding packages we offer with prices. There will also be details on how the Globetrotters Crazy Golf course can be hired for corporate parties as well as other celebrations.

We are also looking to expand our team with an opening for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. The role would be perfect for a graduate looking for work experience in an exciting industry, it could also suit a marketing professional who has at least a few hours a week to spare.

With the Brighton Christmas Market fully behind us, I’m very excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to ‘pop up’ at some of the wonderful venues and events that the South East is blessed with.

Thanks for reading and stay safe

Nick
