Every year brings a new mix of weddings, corporate socials, festivals and family days each one completely different, each one giving us a chance to start entertaining and see our courses used in creative ways we never could have predicted.
Here’s a look back at some of the entertaining events that truly stood out this year… and why they’ve stuck with us.
The Weddings That Turned Mini Golf Into a Moment
This year we were part of more than 30 weddings, from intimate countryside ceremonies to big marquee celebrations that went on long into the evening.
What we loved most about entertaining during our wedding season?
No two setups ever looked the same.
Some couples chose the Icebreaker 9-hole to keep 150 guests buzzing between photos.
Others opted for a cosy 6-hole course tucked into a courtyard for a relaxed drinks reception.
And many leaned into personalisation, custom wedding obstacles, personalised scorecards, and layouts that matched their colour palette.
The best part is always the reactions:
the competitive uncles, the bridesmaids cheering each other on, the candid photos the photographers capture… and the way mini golf naturally brings different groups of guests together.
Corporate Events That Proved Team Building Can Actually Be Fun
This year’s corporate bookings took us everywhere: office courtyards, manor houses and team fun days with anywhere from small teams to multiple departments.
What made them memorable?
The shift toward authentic, unforced team building.
No awkward ice-breakers.
No “trust exercises”.
Just a relaxed space where colleagues could chat, compete, and laugh without feeling like they were being made to “bond.”
Recordati, Adams & Remers Solicitors, Anderson Abercromby Vets and several others turned quiet outdoor areas into lively mini tournaments. Adding leaderboards always brings out the rivalry and the atmosphere is unbeatable.
It’s a simple addition that instantly elevates the atmosphere, turning unused corners into the centre of attention.
Festivals & Family Days Full of Non-Stop Energy
Some of our busiest, most joy-filled days this year came from big public events like Elderflower Fields, FOSTival, The Macs Farm Family Weekend, and various summer community days.
What we loved?
Watching families take over the course for hours on end.
Kids vs parents, friendship groups forming on the spot, and people returning later in the day to “beat their previous score.”
These events remind us why mini golf works for everyone, age doesn’t matter, skill doesn’t matter, its just about having fun.
Private Parties That Went All-In on Fun
Birthdays, anniversaries, and even a 21st with a full prop hire setup… these events always surprise us in the best way.
Whether it’s a relaxed garden party or a full evening celebration, the course quickly becomes:
• the centre of the laughter
• the place people gather
• the backdrop for the best photos
Why These Events Stayed With Us
Aross all of them: weddings, corporate socials, festivals, private parties – the theme was the same:
Connection. Our courses have a way of breaking down barriers, encouraging conversations, and turning strangers into teammates.
It’s simple entertainment, but the impact lasts long after the event ends.
