As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back at the year that transformed Globetrotters Golf from a growing events supplier into a full-scale, in-demand entertainment choice for wedding entertainment, work socials and celebrations across the South.
This was the year we travelled further, delivered more events, built new relationships, introduced new course layouts, and saw more smiles, laughter and “competitive uncles” than ever before and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Here’s a look at what made 2025 such a standout year.
Over 40 Weddings — Each One Completely Unique
This year we were lucky enough to provide wedding entertainment to more than 40 weddings, each with its own personality, aesthetic and unforgettable moments.
What we loved most wasn’t just the volume, it was the creativity couples brought to their day:
Personalised obstacles & custom scorecards
From initials and wedding dates to bespoke themes, couples made our courses truly theirs.
Indoor winter weddings
For the first time, our Beacon and Icebreaker courses played a huge role in indoor setups, turning barns, halls and marquees into cosy, atmospheric mini golf spaces.
Aesthetic versatility
Our courses fitted every style we saw this year:
– rustic barns
– modern estates
– marquee garden weddings
– coastal venues
– traditional country houses
Mini golf proved, once again, it works with any theme — relaxed, elegant, boho, festival-style and everything in between.
A Landmark Year for Business Hire
Business hire grew more than ever this year and we saw a clear shift in what companies want from their team socials.
Instead of forced team-building, companies are choosing genuine connection, light competition and activities that feel fun rather than structured.
Some of our favourite moments from 2025 corporate events:
Summer socials & away days
Teams spent hours playing, taking score, and engaging in playful rivalries.
Christmas parties & winter socials
Indoor setups became the star of December — proving mini golf isn’t just for summer.
Staff appreciation days
Companies used our courses to bring teams together during lunchtimes and breaks, creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
Leaderboards that changed everything
Adding a leaderboard might be optional…
…but this year showed it to unlock a new level of competitiveness.
Garden Games Became the Breakout Hit of 2025
This year, garden games went from “nice extra” to one of our most requested add-ons.
Popular choices included:
• Giant Connect 4
• Cornhole
• Giant Jenga
• Boules
• Skittles
Garden games proved perfect for:
– indoor winter events
– drinks receptions
– corporate chill-out areas
– festival-style garden weddings
– children’s entertainment that adults secretly enjoy, too
They created natural social hubs, filled transitional gaps and added even more laughter to every event.
Transforming Spaces Became One of Our Favourite Parts
This year, we worked in more unexpected spaces than ever before:
– barns
– terraces
– courtyards
– woodland paths
– ceremony-to-reception walkways
– small indoor areas
– large open fields
– festival grounds
Our biggest realisation?
Mini golf doesn’t need a “perfect” space — it creates one.
We loved turning quiet corners into the heart of the event and watching guests gravitate naturally towards
The Feedback That Meant the Most
Again and again this year, guests, couples and clients said the same things:
-“You gave people something to do.”
– “It kept everyone entertained during the downtime.”
– “The photos are incredible.”
– “It got people talking who’d never met before.”
– “This was the highlight of the wedding.”
It’s that effortless mixing of fun, movement and connection that sets mini golf apart, proving why it continues to grow in popularity every year.
Looking Ahead to 2026
If there’s one thing this year made clear, it’s that demand is only increasing.
For 2026, we’re already seeing:
- More corporate teams planning interactive socials
- Increasing demand for indoor-friendly entertainment
- Early wedding bookings, especially spring/summer
- A rise in suppliers adding us to preferred venue lists
- More hybrid events using both courses + garden games
We’re ready for a bigger, even more exciting year ahead with new ideas, updated layouts, and more ways to personalise each course.
