This April, we’ve been soaking up the Spring sunshine, sipping cold craft ales and enjoying the most delicious Mexican street food at ABYSS Brewery and Tap Room in Lewes; All at our latest pop-up mini golf event!
What is the event all about?
Here at Globetrotters, we are all about bringing our communities together, having fun and supporting great local Sussex based businesses at the same time! This event provides the perfect opportunity to pair people’s most loved activities: tasting unique craft beers and playing crazy golf with friends and family, whilst enjoying some of the tastiest local beers and street food that Sussex has to offer.
Mini Golf for all the family
Our mini golf course has been designed for all ages and stages of golfing ability. We welcome children and adults alike to try our 9-hole course (which includes our quirky ‘around the world’ themed props) for some tongue-in-cheek competition and friendly banter!
We are delighted to have welcomed so many of you to our mini golf course during this event. We love to see that some people like to take the course seriously and keep a tight grip on their scorecard, whilst others prefer the ‘slap and dash’ approach – which has resulted in some hilarious moments!
We also have a leader board open here at ABYSS and it is filling up fast! Do you think you’ve got what it takes to top the list?
Mexican Street Food that will get your tastebuds tingling
We’ve teamed up with Carlito Burrito to offer the real taste of Mexico to our visitors! This food has been going down an absolute storm with visitors who have built up an appetite after a few beers and a round of golf.
Carlito Burrito is an award-winning Mexican street food company and Brighton’s first Mexican owned restaurant. We were thrilled to team up with them for this event and they have been providing food from the kitchen throughout. They utilise traditional cooking methods, blending the best fair-trade chillies and spices from Mexico and the finest Sussex produce to deliver a unique flavour experience.

Beers, beers and more beers!
Well, we are based at a brewery after all…
ABYSS Brewery and Tap Room is one of the very best venues to test out a range of craft beers and ales, all brewed on site! We are very grateful to have the opportunity to host this event at such a popular site and offer our guests the chance to enjoy a beer while they are putting their way around our course.
Alongside the amazing beer menu, there are also a selection of local wines and cocktails! Yes, cocktails! Espresso Martini anyone?
We know not everyone is a big drinker, so we have ensured that the event is family friendly and remains suitable for all ages. There are a range of non-alcoholic beverages on the menu.
Delicious coffee from Tigermoth Coffee Roasters
For those of you that are driving, don’t drink or have had one too many… we also have the wonderful Tigermoth Coffee Roasters on site, providing truly delicious coffee.
They are an independent, speciality micro-roastery based in Lewes and will be providing delicious coffee throughout the event.
Tigermoth may be small and local, but they have big ambitions to do things right ethically and environmentally. Drinking their coffee means growers get a fair and sustainable income. And they think seriously about how to minimise their environmental impact.

Please note: The opening times shown above is exclusively for Globetrotters Golf and does not include the venue (the ABYSS Brewery), food truck (Carlito Burrito) or coffee roasters (Tigermoth).
How much does it cost?
We have ensured that there are ticketing options for individuals and for the whole family and that prices are affordable for all!
Adult – £7.50 + 8.5% booking fee (One Round of Golf for 1 Person)
Student – £5.00 + 8.5% booking fee (One Round of Golf for 1 Person (must present valid student ID)
Child – £5.00 + 8.5% booking fee (One Round of Golf for 1 Person (must be under 16 years of age on the day of the booking)
Family – £20.00 + 8.5% booking fee (One Round of Golf for 2 Adults & 2 Students/Under 16s)
Blue Light – £6.75 + 8.5% booking fee (One Round of Golf for 1 Blue Light Worker (includes NHS, emergency services and HM Armed Forces)

All of the tickets above are eligible for our Off-Peak Offer! Claim a second round of golf for free when redeemed before 5pm on the same day as your booking.
Remember – we are only at @abyssbrewing until 2nd May, so plan your trip soon and pair your round of golf with a beer and loaded nachos for the perfect combo! Don’t miss out!
How do I book tickets?
We offer the chance to book a slot online or just turn up on the day.
We do recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment as it can get very busy throughout the day.
