We know how difficult it can be to find things to do with the kids, especially in the winter
months. You want to keep them occupied, and most importantly, having fun outside of the
busy school days. That’s why we’ve put together a list of fun things to do with kids of all
ages in the run up to Christmas, to burn some energy and get them in the festive spirit
1. Explore Tilgate Park
Our pop-up at Tilgate Park back in the summer was fantastic! We loved meeting new people and
seeing so many youngsters having a great time there too. Even when it’s cold, Tilgate Park
can be great to explore whether on foot or bike. This vast park with a lake, offers many fun
things to do such as outdoor activities and woodland areas great for exploring. The walled
garden and children’s play area too will keep your little ones occupied for hours and is great
if you have dogs too.
2. Race with TeamSport Indoor Karting
Whether you’re looking for something to do with the kids on the weekend, or host a special
occasion, TeamSport Indoor Karting in Crawley offers tons of fun for kids of all ages. A
400m track will have your youngsters cruising around and putting their driving skills to the
test. There’s even an Open Timed Race session where you can race against the rest of the
family or friends and grab some refreshments at the Fuel Bar afterwards.
3. Seasonal attractions at Tulley’s Farm
Tulley’s Farm is known to host some of the UK’s best escape rooms, with 4 individually
themed rooms where you need to decipher clues and unravel plenty of riddles in order to win.
They hold events throughout the year such as Pick Your Own Pumpkins, Shocktober Fest,
and decorate for Christmas. There are events for the whole family, including exploring the
farm where the young ones can see all their animals or take part in their fun events always on
show.
4. Go Crazy at Mini Mayhem Soft & Role Play!
Mini Mayhem Soft & Role Play is suitable for kids aged 0-10 years, and it’s conveniently
located in the County Mall in Crawley. They even have separate areas for different ages,
including a Baby activity area, Toddler safe play area and a Large main play arena for all
ages. There’s also a comfortable baby feeding area if needed. This is a great place if your kids
need to burn off some energy whilst you need to do some Christmas shopping in the County
Mall.
5. Play Globetrotters Crazy Golf!
Whilst we pride ourselves on being able to host a lot of fun in the summer months, we also
love to provide crazy golf for all in winter, especially for the whole family this Christmas.
We’ll be showcasing our first indoor pop-up at County Mall, so you won’t need to battle the
outdoor elements to occupy the kids. We’ll be getting in the festive spirit and putting on our 9
hole travel themed course where kids and adults can be entertained for a while. We’ll be in
County Mall from the 18th November to the 31st of December, so you’ll have plenty of
opportunities to come and occupy the kids in the run up to Christmas and the New Year.
